Lemon Pepper Chicken Recipe - Zesty and Flavorful

Ingredients:
- 500g skinless chicken (Preferably legs, wings and breasts)
- Ginger & garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoon
- 2 lemons - squeezed juice
- 4 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 inch cinnamon
- 4 cloves
- 3 cardamom
- 1/4 tablespoon black pepper corns
Directions:
1. Marination Process:
- Add chicken pieces to a bowl
- Add 1/2 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste, salt, 1/2 tablespoon of ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons of curd, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Mix the marinade ingredients and chicken pieces and make sure the chicken pieces are fully coated.
- Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 2 hours.
2. Lemon Pepper Chicken Preparation:
- Heat the cooking oil over a pan over medium flame. Add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and black pepper corns; and saute for few seconds.
- Spread marinated chicken on the pan over high flame and leave it to cook for 2 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and leave it to cook for another 2 minutes.
- Shift to medium-flame and flip the chicken to make sure all the sides are cooked evenly. Repeat the flipping process until the chicken is cooked.
- Next, pour the marinade over the chicken pieces on the pan, add 1/2 tablespoon black pepper powder, 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice and let it cook for few minutes with marinade.
- Flip the chicken again and allow it cook for another few minutes. Repeat the flipping process again to make sure the marinade is absorbed and covered by the chicken over all sides.
- Once the chicken is cooked through, move the chicken to a plate. The hot and delectable chicken is ready to serve with the tangy mint chutney as a dip sauce.
