- Garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon
- Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tea spoon
- Chat masala - 1/4 table spoon
- pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - as per taste
- Corn starch - 2 table spoon
- Oil (for deep fry)
- Boil or pressure cook the potatoes until they are soft enough to mash.
- Drain the potatoes, allow them to cool (about 10 to 15 mins) and peel the skin of the boiled potatoes.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the boiled potatoes and mash them until smooth.
- To the mashed potatoes, add ground black pepper, red chili flakes, chat masala, salt, garlic paste, chopped coriander leaves and corn starch. Mix all them well.
- Apply some oil onto the hands and take small portions of the potato mixture, roll in between palms and slightly press with palm to get the disc shape. Repeat this process with the remaining mixture.
- In
a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high flame. Carefully place the bites in the oil, fry them in batches to avoid
overcrowding the pan.
- Cook for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy over medium flame. Transfer the cooked potato bites to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
