  • Water 125ml
  • Sugar 70g
  • Desiccated coconut 90g
  • Milk powder 100g

  • Heat a medium-sized heavy-bottom saucepan on low flame. Add the water and sugar to the pan, stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Once the sugar has dissolved, add the desiccated coconut and milk powder to the sugar syrup; and mix well. Stir the mixture continuously on low flame for 4-5minutes to get thick consistency.

  • Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small round laddus by rolling them between your palms. Apply gentle pressure to ensure the laddus hold their shape. Repeat this process with the remaining mixture.
  • Coat the laddus with the milk powder by rolling them over the powder.
  • Optional: Sprinkle some powdered cardamom on top for added flavor.
